Today’s staff spotlight highlights one of our junior engineers: Carson Mackay. Carson got his start at Harbourside during his co-op term in 2022, and joined the team full time in 2023.
Harbourside Engineering wins national award for Champlain Bridge project
Harbourside wins the coveted Schreyer award from the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards for their work on the deconstruction of the Old Champlain Bridge. Saltwire features Greg MacDonald and Calvin MacAulay from Harbourside’s PEI office to discuss the project.
Harbourside Engineering acquires W S Langley Concrete & Materials Technology
Harbourside Engineering Group, recently expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of W S Langley Concrete & Materials Technology. The acquired company’s president, Wilbert ‘Wib’ S. Langley, P.Eng., has more than 50 years’ experience in concrete materials engineering. He has consulted for the Halifax Harbour Bridges, Confederation Bridge, Gordie Howe International Bridge, William R Bennett Bridge and Hoover Dam Bridge.
