Two Wins for Harbourside at Engineer’s Nova Scotia Award Gala
The 2026 Engineers Nova Scotia Awards Gala was held on the 22nd of October. There, two Harbourside Engineers and partners were recognized for their contributions to the field of engineer: Wade Pottie, and Robbie Fraser.

Etobicoke Gantry Wins at 58th CCE Awards Gala
Wade Pottie and Calvin MacAulay were in Toronto last week for the 58th Annual Canadian Consulting Engineer Awards Gala. They represented Harbourside Engineering Group, accepting the Award of Excellence for their work on the Etobicoke Rail Bridge Replacement, and the design of their unique modular gantry system.
Mark Stuckless wins ACEC Newfoundland Award of Service
A senior partner with Harbourside Transportation Consultants receives the 2026 ACEC Newfoundland Award of Service. The Award ceremony was held earlier this month, and the winners were announced online on the 17th of June 2026.
Harbourside Wins OPWA Project of the Year Award at 2026 Luncheon
Harbourside Engineering, along with the City of Guelph, and Beton Construction, were awarded a 2025 Project of the Year Award for their work on the Boathouse Retaining Wall in Guelph, Ontario by the OPWA. The Award Luncheon happened on May 13th, 2026.
Harbourside Wins Multiple Awards with CISC Atlantic
Harbourside was the proud recipient of not one, but TWO awards during the 2025 CISC Awards gala for excellence in Steel Construction in Halifax. One in the category of Bridge Projects, the other in the category of Engineering.
Dexter Nova Alliance Honored with the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Engineering
Dexter Nova Alliance Team, which is made up of Dexter Construction, Nova Construction, WSP, Harbourside Engineering Group and the Department of Public Works has received the 2025 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Engineering.
2024 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards
The work of consulting engineering firms was celebrated, as 20 projects were recognized for their technical excellence and their contributions to society, during the 2024 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards (CCEA).
