‘Unique’ heavy bridge transports key to Toronto’s revamped waterfront

The Cherry Street North Bridge being transported via barge from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Toronto, Ontario. This engineering feat was spearheaded by Harbourside Engineering and partners.

Toronto’s long-running waterfront transformation has reached a defining milestone with the opening of the Port Lands redevelopment, a project that owes much to a complex series of heavy transport operations involving four major bridge structures.
