Harbourside was the proud recipient of not one, but TWO awards during the 2025 CISC Awards gala for excellence in Steel Construction in Halifax. One in the category of Bridge Projects, the other in the category of Engineering.

CBC — Harbourside Project Management and Harbourside Engineering Consultants were hired to co-ordinate the build of the Simmons Sports Centre after an initially messy start-up. The project is on track to open next fall even.

Canadian Consulting Engineer — The 2018 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Engineering in Nova Scotia has been awarded to Halifax Harbour Bridges, along with COWI North America and Harbourside Engineering Consultants for the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge Suspended Spans Deck Replacement project, also known as “The Big Lift.”
