Innovation in Everything
Harbourside is constantly growing, changing and innovating. Whether we are developing a new geotechnical process for a client, or welcoming someone new to our team, there’s always something new happening in one of our offices. Now Hiring for May-Term Co-Ops
It's officially co-op season!
Or at least it's hiring season for the May 2026 term co-op for engineering students!
Amongst our many divisions and offices, we have limited openings to provide co-op students with the most comprehensive, hands-on experience possible. We keep the roster small, so that we can deliver the best mentorship experience to each student who comes aboard.
Co-Op Interview with Aaron
We had the chance to interview Aaron about his time in co-op with our Geotechnical engineering division here at Harbourside. He and Kenneth are both in their fourth year of civil engineering at Dalhousie University. Here we get a chance to talk about what working in the lab has been like for Aaron, as well as his first foray into the field in Cape Breton.
Co-op Interview with Kenneth
We’re continuing our trend of highlighting our co-op students. Back in October, we spoke with Kenneth, currently undergoing his co-op with the Geotechnical team. He talks about the importance of mentorship and hands on experience during his co-op term.
Co-Op Interview with Brady Chipman
We have another interview with one of our co-op students. This time, from the geotechnical division! Brady Chipman recounts his time at Harbourside, and how he was able to apply his skills and learn from the team!
Young Engineer: Nishtha Shah
Nishtha is a 4th year engineering student with us here at Harbourside. Her co-op is an 8th month term, and she’s already hoping for an extension!
CO-OP Interview with Sherelle Higgs
Sherelle Higgs recently completed her co-op at Harbourside after a 4-month term with our transportation division. Despite the short time frame, Sherelle has continually impressed us with her excellent work-ethic, and enthusiasm (as you will see in the video). She returns to her studies at Dalhousie University this fall.
CO-OP Interview with Scott Long
Scott Long has been with Harbourside as one of our co-op students for a 16 month term. If you watched our previous video featuring Bryan Rusagara, you may like to know that the two worked closely together for that time.
CO-OP Interview with Bryan Rusagara
As the next semester approaches, we prepare to say goodbye to another crop of amazing co-op students. Bryan Rusagara has been working as a co-op student with Harbourside for 16 months. In that time, we have seen Bryan tackle incredible projects, growing by leaps and bounds.
