Now Hiring for May-Term Co-Ops
It's officially co-op season!
Or at least it's hiring season for the May 2026 term co-op for engineering students!
Amongst our many divisions and offices, we have select openings to provide co-op students with the most comprehensive, hands-on experience possible. We keep the roster small, so that we can deliver the best mentorship experience to each student who comes aboard.
Over the past year, Harbourside has been lucky enough to have found some incredible talent amongst our co-op students. If you've seen any of the interviews we've conducted, you know that we treat our co-ops as if they were junior engineers on the team. This gives them the best foot forward when it comes to understanding the world of engineering consulting. There’s no pointless busy work here. We hit the ground running, understanding that as a co-op , your learning has really just begun. That’s why our co-ops work side by side with our senior engineers to get the best mentorship possible.
If you are interested in a co-op term with Harbourside in any of our divisions, at any of our office locations, you can apply through the career portal of your university. We have offices in Dartmouth NS, St. John's NL, Stratford PEI, and Stoney Creek ON.
We offer Co-Op positions in:
🌉 Structural and Marine Engineering
🪨 Geotechnical and Materials Engineering
🛣️ Civil Transportation Engineering
Student Portals
If for some reason you cannot select Harbourside as an option for your co-op program, you can reach out to us through our application form online. Simply indicate that you are seeking a co-op position, your university, and engineering focus (if applicable).

Our preference is for students seeking an 8-month co-op or longer, as this allows you to get a sense for the seasonal changes within the industry, and develop fundamental experience. If you are looking at a 4-month term, many students start their co-op in one sector before transitioning to another division to round out their experience with another 4-month term later.
