Finding Work-Life Balance

Interview with Roland Adeosun

Earlier this year, we decided to ask some of our team members how they decompress and find the balance between the demands of work and life.

It’s no secret that the world of engineering consulting can be stressful. There’s a lot that depends on performance, analysis and execution. Small mistakes can lead to failures.

That’s a LOT of pressure for a team to put on themselves. This goes double for drafters, who are the backbone of the industry.

We asked drafter Roland Adeosun about his experience working at Harbourside’s Ontario office, the role his family plays in supporting him, and where he finds balance. Roland answers in such a relaxed and comfortable manner that echoes what he says at the beginning: he’s an approachable guy who’s great to talk to.

If you are interested in a position as a drafter with Harbourside, we are currently recruiting for our Dartmouth, Newfoundland, and Ontario office locations. You can apply through our online form or via LinkedIn!

Special thanks to Showbiga Buvanendran from McMaster University, who recorded this footage while working with Harbourside as a student marketing coordinator.
