Young Engineer: Scott Long

Currently in his co-op, Scott has seen and done a lot since he began his term at Harbourside. That goes for both in office and outside of it! Scott has been a frequent sight at every Harbourside social event, including the Bluenose 5km run, and the annual retreat. More than just a socialite, though Scott has taken the opportunity to learn and grow.

"You get the freedom to be part of so much, and to work things out for yourself. You can be part of so many different projects. And the senior engineers, they want you to learn."

Set to graduate in 2026, Scott's time at Harbourside has helped him to grow, and realize a lot about himself as an engineer.

"I know now that I WANT to do structural engineering. This place lets you discover what you want to do."
