    Harbourside Engineering Consultants is looking for the right individual to join our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location in the role of Structural Draftsperson.

  • This position involves drafting work to prepare engineering drawings for design projects such as the design of new and the assessment/rehabilitation of existing: bridge structures, marine structures, industrial facilities, offshore oil and gas structures, buildings, retaining walls, and temporary works to facilitate construction or demolition using AutoCAD. The draftsperson will be required to regularly consult with design engineers on assigned projects, maintain file storage system for engineering plans and related tender documents, and ensure drafting standards are consistent with company practices.

  • The successful candidate will have obtained certification from a recognized educational institution. The candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, high quality planning, analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. This position requires an individual that can work within a team environment as well as work independently to meet client deadlines. New graduates are welcome to apply.
